I grew up in the Jamaican countryside, when as a child going to elementary and high school, especially during the holidays, I moved with my siblings and our cousins and family friends through a landscape replete with plants and animals, fish and birds, montains and valleys, rivers and the sea.

I liked to draw and paint even then, and the images of the landscape and the people on which I pactised in those times past, form the basis for my contemporary pieces.
